Preparing for your Mother’s Day Photo Shoot
Here are 6 quick tips to maximize your Mother’s Day Photoshoot
Arrive on time
Set your arrival time to 10-15 minutes before your shoot. This will give you a chance to settle down, relax and take a breath before your session.Touch ups
Feel free to bring the following items to your shoot:Makeup to touch up
Blotting Paper or Oil Control Film to remove excess oil
Lip gloss, or lip balm to moisturize your lips
Cream to moisturize your hands, arms, legs as needed
Hair Accessories: a brush, bobby pins, clips, etc.
Stay Hydrated
Doing a photoshoot on an empty stomach is not recommended.
Bring a water bottle, juice, and/or (healthy) snacks.Coordinate outfits
For a mommy and me session (2 people), it’s totally fine to wear a matching outfit. When it comes to matching 4 people and more, the same outfit can be overwhelming to the eye and distract from those beautiful faces.Pick a colour for the outfits and coordinate around those colours
(Ex: one person wears a yellow dress, someone else can wear a yellow shirt with white shorts,Watch out for heavy patterns
Props
You are welcome to bring props and accessories that will add value to your story and your images.Toys or a stuffed animal for the kids
Hats or items that represent you
Have Fun
This day is all about you. What’s most important is this: Remember to have fun and enjoy these precious moments that you’re sharing with your family. If things don’t go exactly as you planned, just laugh it off and be in the moment.
